This morning when I woke up, I wasn’t in the best of moods…especially before coffee! I did not feel the excitement of beginning a brand new day as I usually do but instead felt a deep sense of sadness, guilt, shame and uncertainty.
I do not allow these negative feelings to rule me but I do acknowledge their existence and try to figure out why they are there. Today these negatives come from my dreams and hard work to bring these dreams about, are not yet manifesting.
Maybe it’s just me but after a year of working hard, spending alot of money (I have BIG dreams), I have nothing to show for it. All that can be seen is a depleted bank account and the appearance of wasted time.
This is not the state of mind or feelings I choose to remain in for the rest of the day. Instead of having these feelings control me, I will just face them and intelligently deal with them. To counteract these I decided to work on me before “working”.
I needed to replace bad thoughts with good thoughts. I signed up for Bob Proctor’s Six Minutes to Success, which is a daily personal development video with an exercise for you to do to take action. If you aren’t familiar with Bob Proctor yet, you really should be.
After this six minute exercise, (I still wasn’t feeling up to snuff) I decided to head on over to Outrageous Mastery by Sasha Xarrian. This is another excellent personal development site. Her story is an incredible one and is certainly worth reading.
Both of these sites offer a no cost E-book download which I highly recommend.
Why am I sharing my personal struggles with you? Well, it’s my goal to help as many people like you as I can, do my small part in changing the world. (Like I said, I have BIG dreams!) I also believe in what Zig Z. says: “If you help enough people get what they want, You’ll get what You Want.”
What DO you want?
