The Importance of Automating Your System
Why Automate Your System?
The obvious reason to automate is to save time and energy. By automating your system, you do not have to spend extra time processing each lead, customers, clients orders, etc. one by one. You can spend more time doing what you should be doing and that’s growing your business and training your people.
There are several components to a system. In online marketing, it is generally broken down into this:
-
a lead generating method. There are several methods being used successfully. There is direct mailing, emailing, social networking, Pay Per Click, safe lists, joint ventures, give away a useful product or service, and many more ways to generate leads. Each of these methods are all articles within themselves.
-
A lead capture method. This is where a person can opt-in to receive more information about your product or service, or to get their free product or service. You may not send them anything unless they ask for it…If you do send them anything without specific permission, it’s considered SPAM. You can very easily loose your account by spamming. Avoid it at ALL costs!
-
A lead follow-up. This usually entails an autoresponder. This is a series of messages sent out at regular intervals. This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT parts or your automation process. Your messages are set up in such a way that each lead is being “qualified”. This is where the “Funneling process” begins. If they are not interested in the information you provide, they can simply opt out with a link provided at the end of each message. The longer they stay on your list, the more chances you have to interact with them. Your main purpose in this is to develop a relationship with each person. You give them free information, let them know where they can obtain useful tools to help them. They may or may not opt-in to your primary opportunity or buy your product, but you can still create an income by offering them something they need. To be honest, most will not join you, but that doesn’t mean that somewhere down the road, you may offer something they would be interested in. Since you already have a relationship with this person, they are more likely to join with you rather than someone else (if it’s an affiliate program).
-
Continued support after they sign up for your program. This is where your real work begins. Many will have questions, need technical support, etc. They need training in how to make the money for themselves. In order to be successful, you must help them to help themselves. This too is another article in itself, and is the place where you should be spending most of your time. If your system is to be duplicated, proper training is required. Your job is to teach them enough to be self sufficient and become leaders themselves.
-
Continue to process your own orders, create new products for your customers and clients…to help them…To grow your business.
Can you imagine what it would be like if you had to do each step in the system, from start to finish, with each and every person? You’d Never get Anything done! Automation is where it’s at!
