First, let me start off with a question for you. Did you read yesterday’s post? If you did, did you try out that little exercise to find out your work pattern? If not, please go back and read it, then do it, then get back to me with your results. I’d like to know. If you’re curious how I’m doing…well…
I did absolutely NOTHING! You see, in a couple of weeks or so, I’m ripping down this old (1967) trailer of Dad’s and replacing it with a brand new house! How excited am I? WOW! I figure since this entire structure is ending up in the trash, why waste my energy! As far as the car goes, my husband has had it so I never had time to clean it. Since I live in Southern Florida, it’s the rainy season, by the time he gets home, it’s usually pouring. How’s that for excuses! Please don’t let my negligence stop you though. The more you discover who you are, the more in control of yourself you can become. The more control you have, the more self confident you become. The more self confident you become, the better you will live thus becoming the happy person you desire to be! Whew! That was a mouthful!
OK, back to making more room for your passion. Here’s another technique. I’m sure that after you cleaned out your workspace, your house and your car, you found several items you don’t even remember having. Then there are those things you haven’t touched in years.
Step # 2 – GET RID OF THEM. If it’s still usable, sell them in a yard sale or take them to Goodwill, Salvation Army, whatever charitable organization you wish. Don’t get all sentimental about it either. Just remember, you are just making room for something much better and probably something you’ve been wanting for a long time. The saying “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure” applies here. Don’t rob someone else of their blessing just because you want to hoard! Everything else that you don’t use and can’t give away, throw away. You CAN do this. Keep in mind the things you want; the changes in your own life. What you are really doing is creating a vacuum so what you want will be “sucked” in.
Till the next time,
