I just observed this reaction and in trying to interpret this sensation as either fear or excitement in a positive way, I chose to interpret it as intuition that something wonderful is about to happen, keeping my mind focused of how good whatever this is I’m anticipating. My intuition is something I’ve been working on regaining and am once again learning to utilize.

Freedom – From Whence It Comes

Although there are those who’d like to have you believe otherwise, the “founding document” of the United States of America is the “Declaration of Independence”, written primarily by Thomas Jefferson in 1776.

In part it reads:

“When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them…”

Notice the use of “Laws of Nature” and “Nature’s God” here…

Interesting.

It continues:

“… a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed…”

Granted by their very birth…

“… by their Creator…”

God…

“… with certain unalienable…”

Though I can’t pronounce it…

That means impossible to take away…

“… Rights, that among these…”

But not limited to…

“… are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

And…

“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, – That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Now…

If you’ve ever wondered why there’s such an effort to take the teaching of the “Declaration of Independence” out of the public schools here in the United States (a number of school systems here already ban its teaching) or why there’s such an effort, not just here, but worldwide, to remove “God” from the picture, there you have it.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, “freedom”, are birthrights from God, *not* privileges granted by government.

Governments are formed by “the people” solely for the purpose of protecting those rights and when they become destructive of that end “the people” have the *God-given* right to alter or abolish it and replace it with a new one.

Simply put (and in the “early days” this is exactly how I put it to my son)…

God outranks King (government)!

This scares the living daylights out of those who have the insidious desire for power over other people, of which Wallace D. Wattles wrote at length.

After “the people” of the United States won their independence from England, a constitution was written to form the new government that began with these words:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Therein, in three little words, “we the people”, is what makes the United States different (not “better than”, different) than just about every other nation on earth.

We believe, or at least some of us do, that our rights inherently come from God and “we the people” formed a government to protect those rights. In other words, government is the “servant”, *not* the “master”.

I couldn’t possibly explain this difference any better than the late Ronald Reagan, former president of the United States, the man to whom I owe my understanding of this concept:

So…

Whence comes freedom?

It comes from God and what God giveth, no man can taketh away…

Regardless of where you live!

We the people.

In working through my personal roadblocks and “forcing” myself to think positively when it looks like my success is always just out of reach…I now have one more great thing to be grateful for and another leg for my new belief system. After a lifetime of thinking from the position of lack, building my new beliefs of always having what I need (and sometimes want) has NOT been easy! I do know that in order to change my circumstances, I myself must change first. Let me tell you that I’m not easy to change, even though I am the only one who can do it.

I also know that what goes around, comes around or You reap what you sow. Anyhow, I was really impressed with the work that Home Choice had done for my husband and me in preparation for our new house. I was going to make a slideshow video for my friends and family who live in other parts of the country anyway. so, while I was making it, it hit me. Why don’t I add their phone number at the end of it and make it a free commercial as it will. I called and asked if I could really promote it to perhaps help them out during this awful construction slump. Long story short, they said yes. If you live in or near West Palm Beach, FL and need this kind of work done, give them a call!

In case you're wondering who I am

Let me start off by letting you know how very grateful I am for my life, my family, the time to work on my own attitudes and of course, my income. If any of you are internet marketers, you know how difficult it is to break into the business. Well, I’m no different; I entered the field with delusions of grandeur, getting disillusioned over and over, you know the story. Why am I grateful for spending so much money for no return on investment? Ah, but I did! It is not in the form of financial gain so much YET, but in a much greater sense. I have grown in knowledge AND wisdom, mostly about who I really am and where I came from in my value system.

I have learned what in my value system works and what doesn’t. I’ve learned how to discard old worn out values and how and what to replace them with. I am grateful for my mentors who don’t even know I exist, like Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins, Charlie Page and more. If you don’t know who these people are, their names are links so you can be introduced to them.

I now, through my studies and self examination, KNOW I can be successful in anything I choose to do.  It took me a while to get to that point as I’ve had a lot of unlearning and reprogramming to do.  I’ve discovered that one of my biggest obstacles was one stronghold of a value I needed to discard and replace with one that works right now.  I’ve got the tools to change myself and my circumstances, to create my own future.

I’ve Sowed a great deal of time, effort and money into becoming the person I want to be.  Now is the time to begin reaping the benefits.  In my marketing, I’ve done the same thing…discarding and replacing what didn’t work to what I know does.  I had to do the mental adjustments BEFORE I could to the practical applications, otherwise I wouldn’t have the courage to proceed.

What am I getting myself into now in my marketing?  I’m beginning to learn video marketing.  WARNING  You will be seeing them on this blog from time to time as I’m learning.  I’ve not had any experience in this previously so you get the chance to watch me grow!  If you are in the West Palm Beach area and want to share what you know about videos, let me know.
